1. INS New Orleans 2017

The International Neuropsychological Society (INS) will be kicking off its 50th year celebration in New Orleans for its annual meeting from February 1st through February 4th at the New Orleans Marriott in the French Quarter. It was here in 1973 that the organization held its very first gathering, so it makes sense to return to this place of historical significance. 2. 2017 AACN Annual Meeting

The Westin Copely Place in Boston is the venue for the 25th Annual Meeting of the American Academy of Clinical Neuropsychology, June 8 – 10. Registration is not yet open as of this publication, but you can find information on booking hotel and travel accommodations. Abstract submission will open January 1, 2017 and continue through March 6, 2017. The theme of this year’s meeting is “Excellence in Clinical Practice.”

3. 2017 NAN Conference

The 2017 National Academy of Neuropsychology Conference will also be held in Boston, but will be hosted at the Westin Boston Waterfront from October 25, 2017 through October 28, 2017. The mission of NAN is to generate and disseminate knowledge of brain-behavior relationships. Past conference agendas show a multitude of sessions and activities that seem to do just that. As of this writing, there are no details regarding the conference, so check back frequently to catch them as they develop.

4. 2017 Annual AAPdN Conference

The American Academy of Pediatric Neuropsychology will hold its annual conference April 21 – 23, 2017 in fun and fabulous Las Vegas, Nevada. The Golden Nugget Hotel will be the venue for this year’s meeting. Of all the neuro-psychology conferences, you’ll definitely want to consider the AAPdN’s if working with children is your specialty. The website promises there will be “more information coming very soon.” Be sure to bookmark it if this conference tops your list of professional development opportunities.

5. ICCPN 2017

Those interested in scholarship and research may wish to attend the 19th International Conference on Cognitive Psychology and Neuropsychology in London. Held from April 24 – 25, 2017 at the Holiday Inn London in Wembley, this meeting will bring together the top minds in the profession to share their research. You’ll find important dates, travel information and conference objectives on the website to help you in planning your experience.
